    Discussion #1

Impact to well-being can include Depression, stress, anxiety, financial stability, social etc. I think your mental is the most important because it can impact how we think, act and feel. The prefect example was from Rebecca from the Zybook (Zybooks 5.1). Dealing with depression and anxiety while being under constant pressure to perform at your job or even at your home has to be extremely tough.

Everyone manages their mental health differently, so I don't think it affects everyone the same. Having family members that suffer from mental health, I can say that most of them cope with this by eating, smoking and or drinking. Then you have some that seek help by talking to family or friends.

Talking to family or friends is helpful because they can guide you to the right direction. Your well- being is important because it impacts your health, you can live a more fulfillment life. By taking care of  your physical and mental health it can help prevent certain health conditions.

    Discussion #2

Today many of the chronic diseases we have can be prevented and are related to unhealthy lifestyles. Learning how to maintain good health and prevent risk factors for certain conditions may be not easy for some individuals while for others this may be not even a question.

I had the opportunity to work as a Health Educator in a variety of settings and with diverse populations in different agencies, common general concerns when working in the field were the frequency and rate of cases of diabetes, high blood pressure, and cholesterol which can lead the cardiovascular disease; some families had the false beliefs that they couldn’t control their risks for these disease until we provided some education and awareness interventions that opened people’s eyes to make some healthy changes in their lives.

**Class, please review our course reading materials, or other credible sources, and discuss the following:**

What exactly is a healthy lifestyle? Does that include just our weight and physical activity or what other factors that can trigger cardiovascular disease, certain types of cancer, or diabetes? Does our mental health play a role as part of a healthy lifestyle? Why? Why not?

Use examples from the course reading materials, or other academic sources, to elaborate your responses; provide concrete examples and build on your classmate’s comments.

For the last discussion of this course, review a part or segment from the program that has made you proud. That may be achieving your first certification or badge, or completing your first graded assignment, or even going through the resources that have helped you expand your knowledge on leadership. You may choose to discuss someone you have learned the most from: your manager, your spouse or partner, or even a peer you have become friends with during the program.

In your initial post you should address the following questions:

    · How would you describe your experience in participating in this course? How has your experience shaped your intention of how to participate in future MBA courses?

    · What were some of the challenges you faced in this course, and how did these challenges help you prepare for challenges in today's VUCA world of work? How do you think future courses will help you deepen your ability to work in the VUCA world?

    · The fourth industrial revolution has introduced early advances on the internet of things; artificial intelligence (AI); and the production of smart equipment that can analyze, diagnose, and fix issues without the need for human intervention. How do these complex technological developments challenge leaders to adapt their leadership style and behavior?

    · Considering those challenges, what do you want to learn to help prepare you to lead more effectively? How will your future work in this program benefit you and the people you lead?

    Assignment Prompt & Instructions

his assignment is designed to enhance students' observational skills by immersing them in the complexities of natural environments while capturing subtle contextual details and qualitative factors. Traditional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) training often emphasizes recording antecedent, behavior, and consequence (ABC) sequences in isolation, potentially overlooking the broader environmental context. Naturalistic observation, a method extensively utilized in psychology, involves observing subjects in their natural settings without intervention, providing a more comprehensive understanding of behavior as it unfolds in real-world contexts.

By engaging in this form of observation, students can develop a deeper appreciation for the environmental and contextual factors that influence behavior, moving beyond the constraints of structured ABC data collection. This approach addresses common skill deficits among novice analysts, particularly their limited experience with quiet, reflective observation. By focusing on the environment as a whole, without categorizing specific antecedent, behavior, or consequence sequences, students can cultivate a more holistic perspective, essential for effective behavior analysis.

One of the prime articulators is the tongue. The tongue has a tip, middle, and back part (i.e., root). It is a muscular bag with layers of muscles enabling many shapes and forms to create speech sounds as well as to manipulate food into boluses. The tip can normally be extended or pointed outward. It can move upward to touch the back of the anterior teeth or the gum ridge to make lingua-alveolar or lingua-dental sounds. But some children cannot raise the tip of their tongues very far, and when they try, the tongue forms a heart shape. What is happening? It may affect their speech and eating.

The purpose of this Assignment is for you to apply your understanding of articulation and resonation to clients who are tongue-tied. This Assignment is intended to allow you to show evidence that you have achieved the following Learning Outcomes:
