This week, your theoretical orientation is feminist theory. You will use the same case study that you chose in Week 2. Use the Analysis of a Theory worksheet to help you dissect the theory. You do not need to submit this handout. It is a tool for you to use to dissect the theory and then you can employ the information in the table to complete your Assignment.

Be sure to review the Learning Resources before completing this activity.
Click the weekly resources link to access the resources.

    [**WEEKLY RESOURCES**](https://waldenu.instructure.com/courses/184704/modules/items/7657461)

    To Prepare

    · Review and focus on the same case study that you used in Week 2.

    · Use the Analysis of a Theory Worksheet to help you dissect the theory. Use this tool to dissect the theory, employ the information in the table to complete your Assignment, and then keep it to add to your Theories Study Guide in Week 11.

    · Reflect on the feedback you received from your previous presentation.

    · Apply feedback from your previous presentation to this presentation.

    By Day 7

**Submit** a written speech of yourself discussing the client from the perspective of feminist theory.

    ·
**Note:** Your speech should be no longer than 5 minutes.

    ·
**Also Note:** This Assignment is an entirely oral presentation—there is no PowerPoint element to this presentation. Although this is a professional presentation, it is not a formal presentation as in a speech. Imagine that you are discussing your case with a group of peers in a meeting. To verbally present a case can be challenging—but it is also a skill for which practice can relieve anxiety and result in improvement. This will give you an opportunity to practice how to deliver material in a professional manner.

Your speech presentation should include the following:

    · In 1–2 sentences, identify and describe the problem to be worked on in your chosen case study. NOTE CASE STUDY HELEN IS ATTACHED SEPARATELY

    · In 1–2 sentences, explain how feminist theory you are utilizing defines and explains the cause of the problem.

    · In 1–2 sentences, use feminist theory to describe the role of the social worker to facilitate change in the case study.

    · In the assessment phase, identify two assessment questions you will ask to explore what the client’s goals are and how they will get there.

    · Remember, feminist theory should be driving the assessment.

    · Describe two interventions to address the problem and explain how the clients will implement the interventions.

    · Remember, feminist theory should be driving the interventions.

    · In 2–3 sentences, explain how you would determine if one of the interventions you identified is effective with the client.

    · Explain how, specifically, you will set the tone throughout your work with the client to reduce the hierarchical relationship and make it more collaborative.

    · Analyze one strength and one limitation of feminist theory in working with the client.

    Be sure to:

    · Identify and correctly reference the case study you have chosen.

    · Speak clearly.

**Submit** also, as a separate document, your Week 7 Analysis of a Theory Worksheet. NOTE: WORKSHEET ATTACHED SEPARATELY.

    Note: write a speech.

    **## SOCW_6060_week03_AnalysisofaTheoryWorksheet_toBuild3.docx**

    **Analysis of Theory Worksheet**

Use this worksheet to help you apply a theory as a lens to the case study for your assignments. Fill in the column on the right with all applicable information, and then consider it a reference for how to apply the theory. You must submit this worksheet, where indicated, in applicable assignments. Then you will compile the worksheet for your Theories Study Guide (that you can use for the licensure exam) at the end of the course.

LO1: The student will understand the importance of risk management planning.
LO2: The student will be able to develop a Risk Management Plan.

    Instructions:

Fill in the attached template for the project described below. You have limited available
information; therefore, you can make assumptions. In the "Procedures" section, be
sure to highlight the change that will be introduced in this particular project with regard
to the playground. In the "Risk Identification" section, be sure to include a discussion
on how financial risks will be identified, then further discuss these in the subsequent
    sections, as appropriate.

Project Title: Building and opening a new Toy4All store

Project Description: Toy4All toy store chain wants to open a new store in a small
town. For this project, the Director of the Projects Department assigned Mr. Play as the
project manager, an employee with five years of service in the company. He will have to
plan and coordinate all activities related to the new store's opening, which, unlike other
existing stores, will be equipped with a children's playground. He will need to consider
the activities: building the store, setting up the interior and the exterior, supplying the
store with toys, defining the personnel structure, and preparing the store for the
opening. Also, the details regarding advertising must not be forgotten. The project
duration is one year and will end with an opening event.
Due to the professionalism proven when building previous stores, the company decided
to work with the same building contractor (for the construction phase). By now, all
licenses and permits required to start the work have been obtained.
The role of Mr. Play will not be easy. He was assigned due to his idea to include a
playground in the store, which, once applied, should lead to increased sales figures.
While the entire management has supported the idea, some heads of departments in
the organization were not very pleased by his assignment, considering him too young

    Due on Oct 19, 2025 11:59 PM

and inexperienced for such a project. The most serious concerns are related to the
project's impact on the already planned activities that will support sales in the holiday
    season.

    Instructions to the Author:
This is a template for developing a Risk Management Plan.
The template includes instructions to the author, boilerplate text, and fields that should be replaced with the values and
    information specific to the project.
Blue italicized text enclosed in boxes provide instructions to the document author, or describes the intent, assumptions, and
context for the content included in this document. This instructional text should be removed from the final document to make
    the plan more readable.
Text enclosed in angle brackets (<text>) indicates a field that should be replaced with information specific to a project.
Text in black and tables are provided as boilerplate examples of wording and formats that may be used or modified as required
to support a specific project. The information and outline is a suggestion to assist in developing project documents; they are not
mandatory formats. The author should tailor the content of the document to fit the project that this work product will support.

Risk Management is the process of identifying, analyzing, and responding to risk factors throughout the life of a project and in
the best interests of its objectives. Proper risk management implies control of possible future events and is proactive rather
    than reactive.
The purpose of risk management is to

    • Identify possible risks

    • Reduce or allocate risks

    • Provide a rational basis for better decision making about all risks

    • Plan
Assessing and managing risks is the best weapon against project catastrophes. By evaluating risks and the plan for potential
problems and developing strategies to address them, you’ll improve the chances of a successful, if not, perfect project.
    Additionally, continuous risk management will

    • Ensure high priority risks are aggressively managed and that all risks are cost-effectively managed throughout the project

    • Provide management at all levels with the information required to make informed decisions on issues critical to project
    success

If you don’t actively attack risks, they will actively attack your project.
DSS Project Management recommends the DSS Risk Assessment Toolkit as the starting point for developing the project risk
    management plan.
