According to (Chia, 2014), an organization is a consciously coordinated social entity, with a
relatively identifiable boundary, that functions on a relatively continuous basis to achieve a
common goal or set of goals. What I knew about organizational analysis before the course
started 5 weeks ago was that when organizations conduct an organizational analysis,
businesses can make data-driven decisions to improve and enhance performance, adapt to
changes in the market, and achieve long-term success. Organizational analysis allows you to
recognize what helps and hinders an organization(Anderson, 2020). It gives and equips leaders
what they need to make better decisions, improve workflows, and create an environment where
    employees can thrive.
The knowledge I gained at the end of the course speaks to my true understanding of what
organizational analysis truly means. It is way more than what I knew starting this course.
Organizational analysis involves identifying the key factors that contribute to an organization's
success or failure and then making recommendations for improvement. This process requires
an understanding of the organization's structure, culture, and operations.
According to (Anderson, 2020), Organizational analysis is a process of examining and
evaluating an organization's structure, culture, and operations. The goal of organizational
analysis is to identify the key factors that contribute to the organization's success or failure.
Once the key factors have been identified, the organizational analyst can make
recommendations for improvement. Organizational analysis is a valuable tool for helping
organizations to improve their performance. The advantages of an organizational analysis are to
highlight the weak areas in which an organization operates. By identifying the key factors that
contribute to success or failure, organizational analysts can make recommendations that will
help organizations to become more effective. I feel this course has been very instrumental in my
development and will be very beneficial in my career.

Before starting this course, my understanding of "Organizational Analysis" was somewhat
basic. It was simply about evaluating the performance of an organization, its structure, and its
overall effectiveness. I believe that training and experience were more important.  As Anderson
(2020) explains that “personal learning and experience have been essential to organization
development since the 1940s,” I didn’t fully appreciate the depth and complexity involved in
analyzing an organization, especially how it incorporates different theories, frameworks, and
practices that go beyond just performance metrics. I thought it was mainly about identifying
strengths and weaknesses and making recommendations for improvement, but I hadn't
considered the broader strategic, cultural, and operational factors that influence an
    organization's success.
After completing the course, my understanding of Organizational Analysis has evolved
significantly. I've learned that it’s not just about assessing performance—it’s about
understanding an organization’s inner workings, its alignment with strategic goals, its culture,
and how external and internal factors interact to affect its overall success. It involves applying
different analytical frameworks and tools to critically evaluate aspects like leadership,
communication, decision-making, and organizational behavior. These insights are vital for
diagnosing challenges and formulating strategies to improve effectiveness, adaptability, and
    sustainability.
Concerning my workplace in banking, this new understanding has reshaped how I approach
the challenges and opportunities within the organization. I now recognize the importance of not
just looking at financial data or operational processes but also considering the organizational
culture, employee engagement, and leadership dynamics. This comprehensive approach will
help me make more informed decisions and contribute to the organization's growth and
    improvement.
Furthermore, my writing discipline has also improved, especially with my understanding of
APA formatting. Initially, I struggled with citation and structure, but now I feel much more
confident in organizing my thoughts and presenting them in a clear, scholarly manner. This
improvement in writing has been valuable not only for academic purposes but also in my
    professional communication.

Within my organization, software to process freight is heavily relied upon. The software has
become an outdated legacy system which contributes to multiple crashes and freezing causing
the terminal to fall behind (Tsai, et. al, p.3, 2023). The solution relies on modernizing the legacy
software to modern capabilities (Free Press Journal, p.1, 2024).
    Conclusion and Recommendations
The first step into modernizing the legacy software is to implement an automated updating
service that brings the general software up to date (Free Press Journal, p.1, 2024). Once the
software is modernized, the organization must begin to implement the program into terminals.
The organization should start with one terminal to test the initial results of the new software
program. This is the trial era of overcoming any implications in the software and fine tuning.
Once the software proves to be effective to the organization, it can then begin to expand to
following terminals. It should specifically be done in increments to reduce any hinderance
    during daily operations.
    Implementation Plan
This project should be conducted by a matrix organization. A matrix organization provides the
ability to direct dedicated teams solely on implementing this new software program throughout
the organization’s terminals (Gido, p.449, 2017). With the implementation of a matrix
organization, teams can double up on larger terminals and have lesser footprints at smaller
terminals. Due to the volume of terminals spread across the nation a budget of one million
dollars should be implemented. The estimated outcome is that with an updated software
program it should reduce the overall maintenance and operating costs for a projected rate of
ten years making a one-million-dollar budget feasible.
An implementation should be created by the organization consisting of individuals in charge of
specific areas, how long it should take to complete these tasks and when they should be
completed (Gido, p.228, 2017). An IT team should first pick a modernizing legacy software
program to be implemented. Once a program has been selected, the program should enter the
trial phase at one specific terminal most preferably a smaller one to avoid delays in major
terminals. Once the software program has been perfected, it then begins total implementation
to every terminal. Using a matrix organization, the team department will ultimately remain the
same, however, it will increase in size during the final implementation. The implementation for
software introduction should begin within the first six months. The termination of the project
should be completed no later than two years of initial inception.

Originally, the customer sought a way to expand the company's career services department.
The stockholders approved the expansion and agreed to the budget. The plan was to add
another wing to the facility to have a department dedicated to career services for our students.
Upon reviewing the plan, the project manager helped them to see that it would be more cost-
efficient to remodel the space we already have and just reorganize it. According to Goh &
Hall (2013), “The two most important quantifiable performance measures in project
management are completion time relative to a planned schedule and cost incurred relative to a
budget” (para. 2). The company wants this project completed within 2 months and has a strict
budget. By remodeling instead of adding or expanding, the company will save thousands of
dollars and meet their deadline. That will create a bigger budget for training and developing the
new career advisors they are hiring for this project. Gido (2017) states, “An important aspect of
the project manager’s job is to manage and control changes to minimize any negative impact on
the successful accomplishment of the project objective” (p.345). As a project manager,
sometimes changes must be made to meet the customer's needs. This particular change was
not requested by the customer. However, it is the best way to ensure that they are satisfied.
Therefore, the project manager has more room to focus on the project being a success
internally. The goal is to help our students find work in their field of study to help them be
successful. To do that, the focus will be on career advisors' training and development. The
contractor hired by the project manager will now be responsible for upgrading the restrooms to
accommodate the additional 25 employees that were hired to fulfill the career advisor position.
The stakeholders want this project fully completed and running smoothly by June 1st. The

    – ## TheatreDiscussionQuestions.docx

    **## TheatreDiscussionQuestions.docx**

Below you will find 8 discussion questions please answer each.

    1. There is great disagreement over the issue of whether art can create changes in a society or whether it merely reflects what is already happening. How do you feel about this? How does your opinion relate to the issue of censorship? Should art that many people believe goes against societal values be suppressed? Why or why not? ANSWER IN YOUR OWN WORDS!!

    2. The Greek word for actor is "hypokrite," the source of the English word "hyprocrite." Look the term up in a dictionary. Is role-playing in real life hypocritical? Are actors not to be trusted because they are capable of mimicking emotions at will?

    3. Casting is an important aspect of the director’s job, since it has such an effect on the way the play is perceived by an audience. Directors frequently cast according to type in order to make the audience’s perception easier. Is this good for the play? The actors? The theatre as a whole?

    4. In the Greek tragedy
_Medea_ by Euripides, Medea murders her children to get revenge on her husband Jason, who has betrayed her. Why might this ancient Greek play still be meaningful for a twenty-first century audience in the United States of America? Instead of producing the play with actors using masks and
_cothornous_ (wooden shoes with tall heels) as they did in ancient Greece, how might you produce such a play to make it more meaningful to a contemporary audience?

    5. Stock characters have been used in entertainment throughout history. Discuss the relationship between stock characters and ethnic and religious stereotypes. When does a stock character become a negative stereotype? Is it possible to have a stock character that does not insult a group? Why or why not?

    6. Why might we tell ourselves tragic stories? Why would we want to subject ourselves to sadness, horror, and fear? How do you feel after witnessing a tragic play, movie, or television show?

    7.  Make a list of 3 of your favorite colors and associate a mood with each color. Are these associations universal, or are they tied to specific cultures and traditions? Can certain associations be created by their use in a specific show?

    8.  Discuss the elements of costumes as they relate to characterization onstage. For instance, if you wanted to give the impression of an intensely evil character, what colors might you use? Fabric? To what extent are these choices based on stereotypes? Is it acceptable to use stereotypes for artistic purposes?

    Assignment Prompt & Instructions

OSHA published a comprehensive ergonomics standard that was subsequently rescinded by Congress using the Congressional Review Act (CRA). Since that time, OSHA has been prohibited from passing another ergonomics standard. OSHA's current approach is to publish ergonomic guidelines, which are not legally enforceable, for industries with high incidence rates of MSDs and CTDs.

What is your opinion of OSHA's current approach to ergonomic issues in workplaces? Can you propose an approach that you believe would better address ergonomic issues?
