**Review the FDA Guidance on Cleaning Validation, and describe:**

    1. What series of events (plural) caused the FDA to focus on how equipment is cleaned, and when did that occur? (Note: this is described in the FDA guidance document)

    2. Describe what can be tested in order to determine if the equipment is clean. (Note: what would you test and give a short narrative description on why)

    3. Describe 2 examples of why it is critical to document the cleaning process.

    4. What types of contamination can be present in the equipment? (list 3 types)

    5. An entrapment area (a.k.a. dead-legs) in equipment is a place where part of the product/formulation can become trapped/lodged in the equipment (for example, where two parts of the equipment are joined together, where there is curvature in the equipment, etc.), and is challenging to flush, rinse or wipe clean. The entrapped product/formulation can become dislodged during the production of another product and cause cross-contamination. How could you reduce the risk of entrapment?

    **## Week3assignment.docx**

_Engaging all Students with Differentiated Instruction_ is our topic of discussion this week.  This week, you will create instructional opportunities that are adapted for diverse students, including those with exceptionalities and ELLs.   You will develop strategies to make content meaningful for all students and foster active engagement.  You will also plan strategies for collaborating with families, colleagues, and other professionals to further meet the diverse needs of students.  You are doing a great job.  Let’s keep the momentum going during this course.  I will meet you in the discussion forum for week 3.  I hope that you have a great week.

    Requires Lopeswrite

    Assessment Description

Differentiation and modifications are important components when preparing lesson plans that utilize strategies and resources aimed at identified student learning goals. It guides the teacher in creating differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students.

**Part 1: Adjust for Specific Student Needs**

For this assignment, use the lesson plan information you developed in Topics 1 and 2 (including any revisions you would like to make). Using the "ELM-550 Class Profile," select three students who are performing below or above grade level (at least one of each) and describe how you will differentiate the instruction and assessment for the students.

Create a differentiation plan that includes:

    · The chosen social studies and arts standards, grade level, and previously written learning objectives.

    · Brief description of the learning activities, instructional strategies, and assessments (refer back to Topic 1 and Topic 2 assignments, including revisions) that will be used to integrate the social studies and the arts standards.

    · Discuss how students with exceptionalities (including special education and gifted), ELLs, and early finishers would need to be supported during these activities, including information for supporting students during learning and assessment.

    · Describe the strategies you will use during the lesson to make the content meaningful for all students and foster active engagement.

    · Describe how you will differentiate the instruction and assessment for the three chosen students. Your description should include how you will differentiate the learning process, the content being presented, and the product expected from the students.

    **Part 2: Reflection**

In 500-750 words, summarize and reflect on the following:

    · Describe the process of designing an activity that integrates both social studies and the arts, along with how the questioning strategies and differentiation techniques enhance student learning.

    · Discuss how you could collaborate with and incorporate the input, contributions, and knowledge of families, colleagues, and other professionals to further meet the diverse needs of students.

Support your findings with at least two scholarly resources.

Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

This assignment uses a rubric. Review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.

You are required to submit this assignment to LopesWrite. Refer to the LopesWrite technical support articles for assistance.
